Northwest Catholic High School welcomes all prospective students entering 9th, 10th, and 11th grades to apply now for the 2025-2026 school year.
Northwest Catholic High School Placement Exam
All prospective 8th grade students interested in attending NWC in the fall must complete a Northwest Catholic Placement Exam as part of the application process. To register for your exam date, please go into your application and click the "Placement Exam" tab on the left.
The Northwest Catholic Placement Exam has been developed by our English and Math department faculty to best measure basic verbal and quantitative skills in reading comprehension, language, and math. Results are used to guide appropriate academic course selection for all incoming freshmen. Students taking the placement exam in the Fall are eligible for merit-based scholarship consideration.
- The placement exam will be held on the following dates:
- Tuesday, November 5th , 9-11:30 am
- Saturday, December 7th, 9-11:30 am
- The exam takes approximately 2 hours and is broken up into sections with breaks in between. Refreshments will be provided during breaks.
- #2 pencils will be provided.
- Students may bring a personal water bottle.
- Phones will be collected in designated holding stations for the duration of the test.
- Calculators are not permitted.

An interview may be required as part of the application process. Invitations to interview will be sent once all application materials have been reviewed.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Northwest Catholic High School for families who have applied for the 2025-2026 school year. Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by Jan. 31, 2025. Applicants will be able to apply on the FACTS website once the link goes live, please check back in November. When submitting your FACTS application you will be asked for the following:
- Copies of your 2023 Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf or jpeg format online.
